Since Mia S.r.l. was founded in 2007, we have been producing technical clothing for some of Europe’s best-known sports brands. In 2015, we launched the Mia Group’s Dr.Walt project, an innovative line of underwear that combines the comfort and performance of technical underwear.

The factory in Acquafredda (BS), which covers an area of approximately 2,500 m2, houses a weaving room with state-of-the-art machinery and internal units dedicated to research, development, quality control and customer service.

Our 100% Made in Italy production is characterised by the careful selection of yarns and Seamless technology, guaranteeing top quality products. Furthermore, thanks to state-of-the-art machinery and investments in renewable energy, Dr.Walt underwear is becoming increasingly green.

Seamless, for total freedom of movement

Seamless technology makes it possible to develop garments without side seams, with a perfect fit and a high level of comfort. Thanks to the special weave of the yarns, the fabric expands bidirectionally, elegantly following the body’s shape and gently enveloping it.

Dr. Walt underwear does not leave any annoying marks on the skin, offering a comfortable experience in every situation.

Temperature-regulating effect in all seasons

In the production of Dr.Walt men’s underwear, we use the vanisé processing technique, which combines two bacteriostatic polyamide and polypropylene yarns to achieve a thermoregulating effect.

The bacteriostatic polyamide yarn transports moisture from the skin to the outside of the fabric, preventing unpleasant odours, while the polypropylene on the inside ensures that the skin remains constantly dry.

This technique makes Dr. Walt men’s underwear functional and suitable for every season.

Dermatologically tested and certified

All Dr. Walt products are certified according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, a unique certification and control standard in the field of textile raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, which marks products that pose no health risks to consumers.

Our yarns undergo rigorous dermatological tests to ensure maximum safety even for people with sensitive skin and skin allergies. In addition to being hypoallergenic, our fabrics are also bacteriostatic because they prevent the growth of bacteria and prevent unpleasant odours.
