Washable and reusable, they are the sustainable and convenient alternative to traditional tampons and menstrual cups: each brief replaces over 450 external pads and absorbs as much as 4 internal pads. The innovative absorbent gusset integrated in the menstrual briefs consists of a single-layer fabric with a composite structure, designed to offer excellent absorbency combined with protection against leakage.
- The first protective layer is made of breathable fibres organised in a honeycomb weave. In direct contact with the skin, it directs fluids towards the absorbent layer, leaving you dry and clean throughout the day.
- The absorbent layer captures and retains moisture, providing protection and comfort for up to 12 hours, even with a medium flow.
- A thin, waterproof wool membrane forms the third protective layer, acting as an effective barrier to contain liquids and prevent stains.
Beneath the third layer, the underwear’s Seamless fabric provides extreme comfort and complete freedom of movement.
How to wash Dr. Walt menstrual briefs?
RINSE WITH COLD RUNNING WATER
Before washing the briefs, rinse them thoroughly under running cold water until the water runs clear.
MACHINE WASH AT 30° C
Afterwards, you can wash them by hand or in the washing machine using a temperature of 30°C. It is important to avoid the use of fabric softeners or bleach, as they may impair the properties of the fabrics.
AIR DRY
After washing, it is advisable to air-dry the briefs in the open air. To avoid compromising the durability and characteristics of the product, the use of a tumble dryer is highly inadvisable.
