Silver ions for bacteriostatic and anti-odour effectiveness

In order to guarantee maximum breathability for its underwear lines for men and women, Dr.Walt has chosen to use Q-Skin®, a polyamide fibre made in Italy by Fulgar.

The particularity of this yarn lies in the presence of silver ions, inserted directly during the spinning process, which allow the regulation of bacterial proliferation. When sweat molecules come into contact with a fabric made of Q-Skin®, the silver ions are activated, reducing the excess bacterial flora that is the main cause of bad odours.

This fibre is ideal for the production of functional underwear as it offers not only breathability and freshness, but also comfort and hygiene with a tested bacteriostatic efficacy that endures even after numerous washings.
