What is Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification?

The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification, issued by the International Association for Research and Control in the Field of Textile Ecology, is an important guarantee of safety in the textile industry as it certifies that fabrics do not contain substances that are harmful or toxic to the skin.

In order for a product to be certified Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, it must pass a series of standardised tests on a global scale. These tests are designed to detect the presence of any potentially harmful substances and to ensure that the materials are safe for direct contact with the skin.

This certification is particularly significant for products such as underwear, where skin safety is paramount.
