Vanisé technique: the secret of functional underwear

Tecnica vanisé intimo funzionaleCombination of two yarns for a thermoregulating effect

The vanisé technique is a special knitting technique whereby different yarn s, in terms of colour and material, are combined by arranging them on the inner and outer surface of the fabric in such a way that one evenly covers the other. Playing with yarns of different tones, this technique creates particular chromatic effects between shades, overlapping colours and contrasts between the two sides of the fabric.

In the case of Dr.Walt men’s underwear, the vanisé technique is used to combine the properties of two innovative yarns. On the inside of the fabric, the polypropylene fibre Dryarn® ensures that the skin is always dry, while on the outside, the polyamide fibre Q-SKIN®, which has bacteriostatic properties, prevents the accumulation of moisture and prevents the formation of unwanted odours.

The result is a thermoregulating effect that makes vests, tank tops, boxers and briefs functional and comfortable for every season.

Dr.Walt’s advice

Thanks to their thermoregulating effect, Dr.Walt’s vests and tank tops are also perfect for wearing in summer under polo shirts or shirts.
