Sustainability and breathability for Dr.Walt women’s underwear

The Dr.Walt women’s underwear line is distinguished by the use of Q-Nova®, a recycled polyamide fibre made in Italy by Fulgar from regenerated raw materials, with a reduction in CO2 emissions, less consumption of water resources and the use of energy from renewable sources.

This ecological fibre is composed of more than 50% waste materials that could not be used for other purposes and would have to be disposed of as waste. Q-Nova® is in fact based on MCS, an innovative mechanical regeneration system that, starting from waste material, regenerates it in polymer form without resorting to chemicals that would risk compromising the sustainability of the final product.

Q-Nova®, certified GRS (Global Recycled Standard) by Textile Exchange, also stands out for its strength, lightness and breathability. Thanks to this feature, the briefs, tank tops, shorts, and bodysuits of Dr.Walt’s shaping underwear line are able to manage moisture, thus keeping the skin cool and dry in every situation.
